Accounting Basics 1: Bookkeeping, Turnover Report (upon request)

The course program includes the following topics:

1. Accounting accounts: synthetic and analytical accounts, balance sheet accounts, operating accounts, chart of accounts.

2. Double entry.

3. Simple and compound entries.

4. Structure of the account balance and turnover statement. Its preparation.

5. Recording business transactions using double entry.

6. Balance sheet structure, characteristics of assets and liabilities, basics of balance sheet preparation.

7. Income and expense accounts. Characteristics of the profit or loss calculation (by type of expense) and the basics of its preparation.

Topics are examined on the basis of various tasks. By analyzing the examples offered in the tasks, the basics of accounting are explained.

The participant must actively participate in recording transactions, preparing the turnover report, balance sheet and PZA.
